What’s been happening:

After graduation I moved to Pensacola, FL for Officer Candidate School. Flight school started immediately after I commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy. After almost two years of hard work and a move to Jacksonville, FL I earned my Naval Flight Officer Wings. My best friend, girlfriend, and fellow Penn State Alum Jaclyn Ribeiro moved down to Pensacola and we eventually bought a home in Jacksonville. She works for Travelers Insurance as an Account Executive. We have a Rottweiler named Trotter, and are getting another one and naming him Rocky. I proposed on February 22nd, 2008 at Ruth's Chris on the Jacksonville waterfront in front of both of our families. It was the day of my winging. Our wedding is September 12, 2009 in our home town of Reading, PA. I moved to Brunswick, ME in August 2008 where my fleet squadron, VP-8, is based. My squadron deployed to the CENTCOM area of responsibility from December 2008 through June 2009. I was based in Al Udeid, Qatar and Ali Air Base, Iraq. I also got to see NAS Sigonella, Sicily and Djibouti Air Base, Africa. Upon returning to the states my squadron moved from Maine to Jacksonville, FL where Jaclyn was waiting for me. We plan on relocating to San Diego, CA after my sea tour with VP-8.
